Colored Pencil Drawing Classes  and Workshops

Drawing Nature

Colored Pencils are a fun, safe and portable way to express oneself artistically. They are easy for the beginning artist and a meditative change of pace for the painter or graphite artist. We will focus on basics of color theory and color application. Learn to mix and blend colors and use pencils to create tone and hue.  We will cover a variety of techniques including blending, burnishing and impressed line. We will work from a variety of natural objects or from photographs. Learn to draw, trace and transfer drawing while trying out a variety of pencils and papers.
