Drawing Nature in Colored Pencil
Supply List 
Pad of drawing paper, Strathmore 400 series or something similar, 11 x 14-good quality.
Tracing Paper
Kneaded eraser
Graphite drawing pencils, 2H or HB
Hand held pencil sharpener with holder for shavings
Vase or water bottle to hold flower.  

Colored Pencils: If you have a set of good quality colored pencils (Prismacolors, Lyra, Derwent, Caran d’Ache) bring them otherwise it is better to buy your pencils individually. Sets do not always have the pencils we want .You will need the following basic colors :

Prismacolors: available almost everywhere individually

 

Faber-Castell (also highly recommended, available individually at www.dickblick.com .or at Lyons in Long BeachThey continually change the names of their pencils so look for the numbers. )
